Thanks to all ICAT partners who attended Transit Day at the Statehouse on Thursday, February 11, 2016!
Remember that Transit Day isn’t the only opportunity to discuss transit with your lawmakers. You can send them a reminder any time of the year as to why transit is important in their districts and to the lives and livelihoods of their constituents.
You can look up the contact information for your state senator and house representative here. Don’t forget that meeting with your elected officials in person makes the greatest impact but writing a letter or an email also makes a big impression. Here are some tips for meeting with your legislators.
Stay tuned for news on Transit Day 2017, as it will be a big one given that it’s a budget year!
